Ukraine Holds Ground Amid Intensified Russian Attacks and Diplomatic Stalemate

Ukraine continues to resist Russian military advances despite a surge in attacks and ongoing diplomatic efforts.
Overnight from Monday to Tuesday, Russia launched at least four missiles and 129 drones targeting Ukrainian territory.
On Tuesday morning, the city of Dnipro was hit by missile strikes, injuring around fifteen people.
The Russian army has not made any territorial gains since the start of the year, with no advances recorded in March.
However, Ukraine has also been unable to retake occupied areas, and the conflict remains costly for both sides.
The recent Russian spring offensive has increased pressure on Ukrainian forces, particularly through intensified drone and air attacks.
The escalation includes missile strikes on Kyiv, a terrorist attack in the capital, and an assault on a port in the Odesa region.
An Easter truce planned for the weekend of 11-12 April failed to hold, with both Ukraine and Russia accusing each other of violations.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky proposed extending the truce, but Russia reportedly refused.
