Russian strikes kill at least seven in Ukraine including Dnipro

Russian missile and drone strikes targeted multiple Ukrainian cities overnight, killing at least seven people.
The central city of Dnipro was hit hardest, with five fatalities reported after an apartment building was struck.
Rescue workers continued searching for survivors under the rubble on Saturday morning.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky described the attack as lasting "practically all night." Other cities targeted included Chernihiv, where two people were killed, as well as Odesa and Kharkiv.
Ukrainian authorities said they repelled the majority of over 600 Russian drones launched during the assault.
British jets were scrambled from Romania in response to drone incursions near the border, although the UK Ministry of Defence denied reports that British forces had shot down any drones.
Meanwhile, Ukraine conducted some of its longest-distance drone strikes deep inside Russian territory, including in Yekaterinburg, where six people were injured after a building was struck.
The Russian Ministry of Defence stated it had shot down 127 drones over more than a dozen regions and claimed to have taken control of Bochkove, a village in the Kharkiv region near Ukraine's northern border.
Ukrainian authorities have not confirmed this claim.
