At least 16 killed in exchange of strikes between Ukraine and Russia on Chernobyl anniversary

Russia and Ukraine exchanged drone and missile strikes over the weekend, resulting in at least 16 deaths across both countries.
The attacks coincided with the 40th anniversary of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, raising concerns about the risks posed by military actions near the nuclear plant.
Russian drone and missile strikes targeted the Ukrainian city of Dnipro, killing at least nine people, according to regional head Oleksandr Hanzha.
In Russian-occupied Crimea, officials reported one man killed in a Ukrainian drone strike on the port city of Sevastopol.
Additional casualties were reported in the Luhansk region, where three people died in an overnight Ukrainian drone strike on a village, as stated by Leonid Pasechnik, the Russian-appointed governor.
A woman was also killed in a Ukrainian drone attack on Russia's Belgorod border region.
Ukraine's General Staff announced that its forces struck an oil refinery in Yaroslavl, deep inside Russian territory.
The attack caused fires at the facility, which processes 15 million tons of oil annually and produces gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel for the Russian military.
Russia has not yet commented on this strike.
