In East Asia, North Korea said its latest intermediate range ballistic missile test from the eastern coastal Wonsan area was designed to evade defences, a move that adds to tensions with South Korea.  🔗 Japan also lodged a formal protest with the United States after a US Marine was arrested in Okinawa on suspicion of robbery and murder, an incident likely to strain ties further.  🔗
