Financial glimpse

Wall Street closed sharply higher, with Tesla, Meta and Microsoft driving a broad tech led rally that lifted the Nasdaq Composite and S&P 500, while the move also spread into banks and small caps.  🔗

Asia Pacific trading was mixed, Tokyo opened higher with the Nikkei 225 up 1.0%, but South Korea's Kospi and Hong Kong's Hang Seng lagged, and the later session ended with a sharp split as gold and silver extended gains while oil fell.  🔗 🔗

European markets were mixed at the open and then finished higher, led by Germany's DAX, with silver and gold surging, Brent crude slipping and the euro firmer.  🔗 🔗
