Israel and Syria remained on edge after a US envoy accused Israel of striking Syria’s Abu Duhur military base without adequate warning, Syria condemned a separate strike near Beit Jinn that it said injured several people, and Damascus said the door remained open to diplomacy with Israel with security talks possibly resuming soon.  🔗  🔗  🔗

In the occupied West Bank, Israeli forces launched a wide search operation in the Jordan Valley after a stabbing near al-Auja left an Israeli man wounded.  🔗

Ukraine’s political row deepened as President Volodymyr Zelenskyy rejected calls for a wartime presidential election, saying it would destroy the country, while his sacked defence minister Mykhailo Fedorov said Zelensky had questions to answer over corruption in government.  🔗  🔗
